Uno Dos Tray (1999)

Two soldiers on leave meet a waitress in a café, red tray in hand. The men launch into a playful and witty competition, eventually engaging the girl in their giddy play.  The partnering combinations among the trio become more athletic, and a dreamy tone seeps into their movement.  Unnerving by proximity to love, the men retreat back into careless cavorting.  At the sound of their boat’s departing whistle they bounce off stage — only to be replaced by two newly arriving soldiers.

  • “Partnering finesse that any ballet cavalier would envy”
                          Los Angeles Times

  • “A charming little summer sherbet…expertly conceived and performed."

                         (New York Times, Jennifer Dunning)
